It all Begins With a Discovery Flight …
A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step and your first step is to get into an airplane and experience piloting for yourself. We provide more than just a "Plane Ride." Only at American Flyers will you experience a fun and practical "Introduction to Aviation." | You Are Invited to a Free BBQ Lunch and Pilot Get Together. . . |

 If you haven't heard yet, there is a gathering of local area pilots the first Saturday of each month in our hangar. You and a friend or family member are invited to a free barbeque lunch where you can enjoy great food, while spending time at the airport “hanger flying” with pilots of all experience levels. These BBQ's are a wonderful opportunity to hang out with some really great people who are passionate about flying!

Spend a fun filled hour or so the first Saturday of each month at our Santa Monica Municipal Airport facility. You are sure to enjoy the camaraderie of other pilots, as well as the opportunity to ask our Flight Instructors any questions you may have or even schedule a Discovery Flight.
