Blue Sky Aviation is a full-service helicopter flight training academy located in Central California.

Our comprehensive career training program is unlike anything available in the industry today.   If your goal is to fly as a professional helicopter pilot, we can help you start your career!

Our flight training program is federally accredited by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  What this means is that agents from the U.S. government have reviewed our training system for compliance with their rigorous standards for quality.  They have visited the campus to interview our maintenance staff and evaluate our maintenance practices to assure absolute safety.  Finally, our flight instructor training program was evaluated (Most schools don't even have a formal flight instructor training program) for completeness by the FAA.  After careful review, the U.S. government has approved Blue Sky Aviation as a federally approved flight training school.  The F.A.A. is the industry standard for quality in training and only a handful of schools ever receive this authorization.

Flight Training Programs

Blue Sky Aviation offers a variety of flight training program to meet each student’s needs.  Whether you are looking for an in-residence full-time commitment, or wish to train part-time, we have a program that will meet your needs.  All courses are taught using a structured syllabus and require that students make a minimum training commitment to meet their goals.  

Career Track

The academy program is an intensive training system  that will immerse students in the learning environment.  If you want to ‘fast-track’ your career training, this program is for you!  The full-time academy is an 8 - 5, Monday through Friday program that will get your ratings completed in the shortest amount of time.  The 'Part-time' program is designed for working adults that cannot stop their life to pursue an aviation career.

On-Demand Training

Students that do not need all of the packaged services of the academy programs can enroll in the ‘on demand’ program.  The 'on-demand' training program is designed to be flexible enough to meet your needs.  This program is perfect for those wishing to pursue a private pilot license, or those with previous fixed-wing flight experience.
