Unlike standard category aircraft, the light sport aircraft category is as diversified as it comes. A light-sport aircraft is simple put any:
- Airplane (single-engine only)
- Glider
- Powered Parachute
- Lighter-Than-Air (airship or balloon)
- Rotorcraft (gyroplane only)
- Weight-Shift Control Aircraft (trike)
